We enjoyed working with all of the educators at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee teachers' convention on Thur. Oct. 19. There were crowds of teachers around our booth wanting to learn why the Smart Board is such an engaging learning tool. Many of our customers made spontaneous testimonials on the show floor, telling about the changes they've experienced in their classrooms.
Sr. Robert Anne at Lumen Christi School in Mequon asked "I have a five year old student who just can't seem to make items move around on the board." So, Sister is demonstrating the tip we gave her, and dragging religious icons around from Notebook Gallery. REST YOUR FINGERNAIL ON THE BOARD INSTEAD OF YOUR FINGER, AND YOU CAN EASILY MOVE OBJECTS AROUND.
When I was a boy, I went to Catholic School and the nuns were saying "Mike, quit playing with your fingers." I was a very fidgety child. So, for me, it is a joyful irony to tell Sr. Robert Anne how to properly "play" with a Smart Board, using her fingers.
